Bellroy - Better Ways to Carry

Based in Australia, Bellroy was founded in 2010 with a mission to redesign the classic wallet. Their debut collection featured five minimalist, compact, and functional wallets that quickly gained great success. Behind this first range of products was a small team of product developers who leveraged the extensive knowledge they had acquired through their blog, Carryology – now one of the largest resources on “carry" (bags, luggage, wallets, etc.).

Since then, Bellroy has expanded their offerings beyond wallets. They now offer a broader range of thoughtfully designed carry solutions, including backpacks, sling bags, and travel accessories – all developed with the same minimalist design philosophy that characterized Bellroy’s first range of wallets.

The driving force behind Bellroy's great success is the desire to find "better ways to carry" by optimizing, innovating, and eliminating all that is unnecessary – without compromising functionality.

Minimalist Wallets in Quality Leather

Bellroy's wallets are compact yet spacious, featuring intuitive designs that provide easy access to your cards and cash. The wallets are made from environmentally certified leather from gold-rated Leather Working Group tanneries. These tanneries are subject to ongoing inspections and adhere to high standards for energy consumption, wastewater management, CO2 emissions, working conditions, and more. All their leather is full-grain, chrome-tanned, cow leather, ensuring long-lasting durability and a beautiful patina over time.

Sustainable Materials

Bellroy's commitment to using materials with minimal impact on the environment and optimal durability is not limited to leather. Bellroy is actively working to develop and source more environmentally friendly materials. In 2019, Bellroy introduced its first line of bags made from recycled materials, and today this practice has been extended to much of Bellroy's range.

Bellroy's commitment to sustainability has earned it B Corp certification since 2015. This certification recognizes Bellroy for its efforts in addressing social and environmental challenges.
