Forge 30 is the second edition of Black Ember’s ever popular, weatherproof EDC and travel pack. The Forge is designed to be carried three ways: backpack, soft-brief and shoulder bag (Forge Shoulder Strap sold separately). The Forge unzips and divides into two separate sections: The organization panel stores your smaller essentials, while the storage compartment is made for clothing and bulky items. Your essentials are right at hand in the quick access panel. The laptop sleeve provides easy access to your laptop and tablet, and protects them in layers of EVA foam and ripstop nylon. For long term travel, the Forge instantly expands from 20 to 30 liters.

Ergonomic 3D shoulder straps with two densities of EVA foam provide both cushion and support. Set up your Forge to your fit with Load-lifters and a magnetic sternum strap. The butterfly back-panel keeps the straps hidden, until you need them, while an air-channel keeps your back cool and dry. Laser-cut, locking zipper pulls secure your gear.

Forge 30 is built from Cordura®’s new RN66 Velocity fabric. This new fabric brings the same Cordura® durability and quality with a lustrous matte-shine, dust and dirt resistant finish. Combined with YKK® AquaGuard zippers, the Forge 30 is also weatherproof.
